一、朗读 Read aloud
每个星期六早上，爸爸都带我去游泳池学游泳。
měi gè xīng qī liù zǎo shang bà ba dōu dài wǒ qù yóu yǒng chí xué yóu yǒng
Every Saturday morning, Dad takes me to the swimming pool to learn to swim.
刚开始的时候，我很怕水，站在池边不敢下去。
gāng kāi shǐ de shí hou wǒ hěn pà shuǐ zhàn zài chí biān bù gǎn xià qù
At first I was very afraid of the water and stood at the edge of the pool, not daring to get in.
教练对我说：“别怕，有我在你旁边。”

The coach said to me, "Don't be scared. I'm right beside you."
他教我抱着浮板，用脚用力地踢水。

We must not run at the poolside, because the floor is slippery and we could fall. We may only go into the water when an adult is beside us.
三、会话 Conversation
情景：天气很热，你的朋友说：“我们去附近的河里游泳吧，那里没有人管。”
tiān qì hěn rè nǐ de péng you shuō wǒ men qù fù jìn de hé lǐ yóu yǒng ba nà lǐ méi yǒu rén guǎn
It is very hot. Your friend says, "Let's go and swim in the river nearby. Nobody watches over it there."
老师：你会跟他去吗？为什么？
nǐ huì gēn tā qù ma wèi shén me
Would you go with him? Why?
范例：我不会去。河里的水很深，水流也很急，旁边又没有大人和救生员，太危险了。
wǒ bú huì qù hé lǐ de shuǐ hěn shēn shuǐ liú yě hěn jí páng biān yòu méi yǒu dà rén hé jiù shēng yuán tài wēi xiǎn le
I wouldn't. The river water is deep and fast, and there are no adults or lifeguards nearby. It's too dangerous.
💡 Answer 会 or 不会 first, then give two reasons with 也 and 又.
老师：你会对朋友说什么？
nǐ huì duì péng you shuō shén me
What would you say to your friend?
范例：我会对他说：“河边太危险了，我们请爸爸妈妈带我们去游泳池游泳吧。”
wǒ huì duì tā shuō hé biān tài wēi xiǎn le wǒ men qǐng bà ba mā ma dài wǒ men qù yóu yǒng chí yóu yǒng ba
I would say, "The river is too dangerous. Let's ask our parents to take us to the swimming pool."
💡 Give a safer idea that has an adult in it, with 我们请……带我们去……吧.

nǐ jué de xué yóu yǒng yǒu shén me hǎo chù
What do you think is good about learning to swim?
范例：学游泳可以让身体更强壮。如果不小心掉进水里，会游泳的人也比较安全。而且游泳很好玩。
xué yóu yǒng kě yǐ ràng shēn tǐ gèng qiáng zhuàng rú guǒ bù xiǎo xīn diào jìn shuǐ lǐ huì yóu yǒng de rén yě bǐ jiào ān quán ér qiě yóu yǒng hěn hǎo wán
Swimming makes our bodies stronger. If we fall into water by accident, people who can swim are safer too. And swimming is great fun.
