月亮圆圆，星星亮亮，我要睡觉了。
yuè liang yuán yuán xīng xing liàng liàng wǒ yào shuì jiào le
The moon is round, the stars are bright, I am going to sleep now.
一、朗读 Read aloud
晚上，我先洗澡，再穿上睡衣。
wǎn shang wǒ xiān xǐ zǎo zài chuān shang shuì yī
In the evening, I take a bath first, then put on my pyjamas.
然后我躺在床上，盖好被子。
rán hòu wǒ tǎng zài chuáng shang gài hǎo bèi zi
Then I lie in bed and pull the blanket up.
妈妈站在床边，给我讲故事。
mā ma zhàn zài chuáng biān gěi wǒ jiǎng gù shi
Mum stands by the bed and tells me a story.
听完故事，妈妈关了灯。
tīng wán gù shi mā ma guān le dēng
After the story, Mum turns off the light.

There is Mum and a boy in the picture. They are in the bedroom.

三、会话 Conversation
情景：老师和你聊一聊晚上睡觉的事。
lǎo shī hé nǐ liáo yi liáo wǎn shang shuì jiào de shì
The teacher is chatting with you about going to bed at night.
老师：你每天晚上几点睡觉？
nǐ měi tiān wǎn shang jǐ diǎn shuì jiào
What time do you go to bed every night?
范例：我每天晚上九点睡觉。
wǒ měi tiān wǎn shang jiǔ diǎn shuì jiào
I go to bed at nine o'clock every night.
💡 Say the time in a whole sentence.
老师：睡觉以前，你会做什么？
shuì jiào yǐ qián nǐ huì zuò shén me
What do you do before you go to sleep?
范例：睡觉以前，我会先刷牙，再看一本故事书。
shuì jiào yǐ qián wǒ huì xiān shuā yá zài kàn yì běn gù shi shū
Before I go to sleep, I brush my teeth first, then read a storybook.
💡 Use 先……再…… to say two things in order.
老师：为什么小朋友要早点睡觉？
wèi shén me xiǎo péng you yào zǎo diǎn shuì jiào
Why should children go to bed early?
范例：因为早点睡觉，第二天才有精神上学。
yīn wèi zǎo diǎn shuì jiào dì èr tiān cái yǒu jīng shen shàng xué
Because if we go to bed early, we will have energy for school the next day.
💡 Start with 因为 and give one reason.
